Our March film was Happy-go-lucky, the light-hearted comedy from British director MIKE LEIGH. HAPPY-GO-LUCKY stars Golden Globe ® winner SALLY HAWKINS as Poppy, a London school-teacher whose infectious optimism affects all around her. This critically acclaimed “anti-miserabilist” film challenges notions of pessimism in day-to-day life and has delighted audiences world-wide.

Time Out said "Sally Hawkins is a real delight", Rolling Stone said "a movie driven by character".

Happy-go-lucky was shown on Monday 30th March, at the Church Rooms, Church Lane, Lostwithiel. Doors and the bar opened at 7pm and the film screening started at 8pm.
