Our final film of the season will be The Martian...

During a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet. With only meager supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive.

Ridley Scott (Blade Runner) is back on form with this gripping tale of an astronaut stranded like Robinson Crusoe, awaiting a rescue that may never come.

'The Martian is one of the most fascinating and realistic science fiction films I've seen in a while, full of great performances, beautiful cinematography, and an absolutely gripping plot' WheelzFourReelz
